As part of an international children's aid organisation, he and his team are responsible for the development and expansion of the German country office, the tasks include fundraising for the currently 16 programme countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, advocacy work for The theme of Sport & game for Development as well as campaigns and publicity work.The mutual exchange with the international colleagues and the opportunity to improve the chances of disadvantaged children through Play & Sport – that's what drives him and his team at Right To Play: Wether with creative campaigns with Athlete Ambassadors, as part of innovative teacher training projects or through new event formats such as the Sports Quiz and the involvement of personalities from a variety of industries. Prior to Right To Play, he worked for Omnicom Group, Sony Music and Pacific Entertainment Media. He holds a master's degree in Sports Management from the University of Bayreuth and studied marketing and sports at the University of Santa Caterina in Brazil. As a volunteer, Sven helped to set up a sports-for-development project in Sokodé, Togo and is the initiator of the Heimspiel-Cup Lenggries, a football tournament for refugees and locals in his home community.
